random thoughts

It's sooooo good to be home. I'll be able to sleep in my own, DARK room instead of one where the light's in there the moment the sun is up.
But it was nice being able to see my cousins again. They're always fun to be with.
I miss Jon so much. I can't wait for him to come home and be able to see him face to face..see pictures from his trip, just simply to be with him.
Why would people want to drink their trip away? Why would you pay that much money just to go and get drunk every night. That does NOT make sense to me at all. Drinking would be the farthest thing from my mind if I was in Europe, even if it is part of the culture.
I got offered a drink last night from my uncle, and then my dad was like "ah come on Shelly" when I didn't accept... and then later he offered me a smoke or whatever they call it off of his cigar. Gag me now, please.
My grandma talked her head off to me about people and things I've never heard of for like an hour tonight. It was a blast.
It seems like almost all my friends are out of town right now. It's kinda sad!
I'm gonna be a big sister soon. Not literally, but I'm volunteering for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America. It should be pretty cool.
I'm so glad I'm not doing marching band. The more I think about it and explain to people why I'm not doing it, it just makes me that much more sure that it's not how I want to spend my time.
My brother comes home a week from today! And then my other brother in about a week and a half! It'll be so much fun!
Andddddd then Spalding! I'm so excited to go back. I didn't get to go last year, so I'm really excited to go back even more! :)
